This summer Athens is hosting the European Music Day from June 16-21. There will be over 100 free open air concerts all over Athens and suburbs.

June 7 Nick Cave + the Bad Seeds. Lycabettus open air theater.
June 15 Mark Knopfler. Lycabettus open air theater.
June 16 Sting. Rockwave Festival. ( This has not been confirmed.)
June 19-20 James Blunt. Lycabettus open air theater.
June 25 Linkin Park. Rockwave Festival, Terra Vibe.
July 1 Def Leppard. Whitesnake. Karaiskaki Stadium.
July 3 Metallica. Rockwave Festival, Terra Vibe.
July 8 The Offspring, Siouxsie, The Gossip, Marky Ramone, Flogging Molly. Rockwave Festival.
July 9 Judas Priest, Within Temptation, Cavalers Conspiracy, Morbid Angel. Rockwave Festival.
July 10 Manu Chao, Patti Smith, Locomondo. Rockwave Festival.
